EEO Counselor Annual Refresher

This course is designed to provide experienced EEO Counselors with EEO law updates, innovative alternative dispute resolution techniques, questioning techniques, significant case studies, and enhance writing skills. Participants will discover how recent OFO decisions will impact the EEO process and case law. This course meets the annual EEOC 8-hours training requirement. Participants will receive a comprehensive workbook.
Course Topics Include:
• EEOC Case Law Updates
• Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act of 2008 (GINA)
• Race/Color-Based Discrimination Claims
• LGBTQ Discrimination Claims
• Age-Based Discrimination Claims
• Independent contractor vs. Employee Claims
Duration
(4) 2-hour Sessions (Tue - Fri) 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. EST each day
Participants must be able to attend all sessions of instructions to receive certificate
Prerequisite:
Experienced EEO Counselors or EEO Professionals
Standard rate: $315.00 per participant
(Certificate provided after successful completion of all sessions)
